About Your 2026 Volkswagen Jetta
Volkswagen is the bedrock of the VW Group lineup, and the immobilizer platform Audi, Porsche, and (in part) Bentley share originated here. Modern VWs use the MQB or MQB-Evo platform with IMMO5 encryption. Jetta, Tiguan, Atlas, Passat, and Golf cover most of our VW work. The most useful thing to know about VW keys: pre-MQB cars (mostly pre-2014) are dramatically cheaper to program than MQB cars. The MQB platform requires advanced equipment, longer security sessions, and more expensive blanks — but the upside is much stronger anti-theft protection. We service both generations on-site.
7th-generation Jetta (2019+) uses the MQB-A1 platform with KESSY on SEL and Sport trims. S and SE trims have the basic remote head transponder. We carry both.
2015-and-newer VWs use the MQB or MQB-Evo platform. KESSY proximity smart key is standard on most modern trims. We support the full lineup on-site.
